Order Verification & Security

How LabCreated.Diamonds protects high-value loose lab-grown diamond orders with payment review, address verification, phone validation, identity checks when needed, and insured UPS delivery.

Last updated: June 2026

LabCreated.Diamonds uses order verification to protect customers, prevent unauthorized card use, and make sure loose lab-grown diamonds are shipped safely and accurately.

Loose lab-grown diamonds can be high-value purchases, so we do not treat verification as an afterthought. Before shipment, orders may be reviewed for billing accuracy, shipping accuracy, payment authorization, phone validity, address matching, fraud risk, and insurance requirements.

These checks are not meant to make buying harder. They are meant to protect the buyer, the payment method, the shipment, and the insured delivery process.

Why Order Verification Matters

Loose lab-grown diamonds are small, valuable, and require secure shipping. Because of that, every order must be handled carefully before it leaves our possession.

Verification helps confirm that the person placing the order is authorized to use the payment method and that the shipping information is safe, accurate, and eligible for insured delivery.

This protects honest customers from unauthorized card use, delivery problems, address fraud, and preventable shipping issues.

What We Review Before Shipping

Depending on the order, verification may include one or more of the following checks:

  • Billing name and billing address review
  • Shipping name and shipping address review
  • AVS billing street number and ZIP code match
  • Payment authorization review
  • Phone number validation
  • Billing and shipping address consistency
  • Risk signals from checkout or payment review
  • Government-issued photo ID verification when needed
  • Inventory and certification confirmation before shipment

Most legitimate orders move through review normally. If something needs attention, we may contact you before shipping.

AVS Billing Verification

AVS stands for Address Verification System. It helps confirm that the billing street number and ZIP code entered at checkout match the information your card issuer or bank has on file.

For high-value loose lab-grown diamond orders, AVS is an important security check. If the billing street number or ZIP code does not match your bank’s records, the order may be delayed or canceled for security reasons.

To avoid problems, enter your billing address exactly as it appears with your card issuer before placing the order.

Billing and Shipping Address Review

For security and insurance reasons, high-value diamond orders may be required to ship to the verified billing address used at checkout.

Orders with mismatched billing and shipping information may require additional review or may be canceled if we cannot verify that the shipment is safe and authorized.

This rule helps reduce unauthorized card use, stolen payment attempts, and delivery fraud.

Phone Number Verification

A valid mobile or landline phone number is required for high-value loose lab-grown diamond orders.

VOIP phone numbers are not accepted because they are commonly used in payment fraud and hard-to-verify transactions. Orders using VOIP numbers may be canceled.

Use a real mobile or landline number that can be associated with the buyer and the order if verification is needed.

Identity Verification

Some orders may require a government-issued photo ID before shipment. This is most likely when the order value is high, when payment or address information needs extra confirmation, or when fraud-screening signals require additional review.

ID verification is used to confirm payment authorization and protect against unauthorized card use. It is not used for marketing.

If ID verification is requested and not completed, the order may be canceled and refunded according to the payment status and applicable policy.

When an Order May Be Delayed

An order may be delayed if billing details do not match the payment method, if the phone number cannot be validated, if the shipping information needs review, if ID verification is required, or if the selected diamond needs final availability confirmation.

If we need more information, we may contact you using the email address or phone number provided at checkout.

To avoid delays, make sure your checkout information is accurate before placing the order.

When an Order May Be Canceled

An order may be canceled if it does not meet our verification standards. This can include failed AVS checks, mismatched billing and shipping information, use of a VOIP phone number, unverifiable customer information, suspected unauthorized payment use, refusal to complete required verification, or shipment details that do not meet insurance requirements.

If an order is canceled before fulfillment, the payment authorization may be voided or refunded depending on payment status and processor timing.

Cancellation for verification reasons is not a judgment about the buyer. It means the order did not meet the security standards required for a high-value insured diamond shipment.

Shipping Address Changes and Reroutes

Shipping address changes may not be allowed after checkout. High-value loose lab-grown diamond shipments must match the approved order information and insurance requirements.

UPS reroutes, delivery redirects, alternate pickup changes, and address changes may be refused for security and insurance reasons.

If you need the order shipped to a specific address, enter the correct address at checkout before completing payment.

Freight Forwarders and Third-Party Shipping

Orders intended for freight forwarders, package forwarding services, reshippers, or third-party export addresses may be canceled.

LabCreated.Diamonds ships within the United States only. The shipment must meet our verification, security, and insurance requirements before release.

This protects the buyer and helps prevent delivery disputes, lost packages, and uninsured shipment problems.

Insured UPS Delivery

Approved loose lab-grown diamond orders ship by insured UPS service within the United States. Adult signature is required at delivery.

Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes because insured loose diamond shipments require secure delivery handling.

Once your order ships, tracking information will be sent to the email address used at checkout.

Inventory and Diamond Availability

Most orders proceed normally, but loose diamond inventory can change because diamonds may be supplied through live availability feeds.

If the selected diamond becomes unavailable after checkout, we will contact you with available options. Depending on the situation, those options may include a comparable replacement option or a refund.

An order is not considered final for shipment until verification, availability, and pre-shipment review are complete.

How to Avoid Verification Problems

Before placing an order, use the following checklist:

  • Use your real name at checkout.
  • Enter the billing address exactly as your bank has it on file.
  • Use a valid mobile or landline phone number.
  • Do not use a VOIP phone number.
  • Use a shipping address that can pass verification and insured delivery requirements.
  • Do not use a P.O. Box.
  • Do not use a freight forwarder or package forwarding service.
  • Be ready to complete ID verification if requested.
  • Check your email after ordering in case we need more information.

Your Privacy During Verification

Information collected for order verification is used to review and protect the transaction. It is not used for marketing.

If government-issued ID is requested, it is used to confirm order authorization and reduce fraud risk.

For more detail about how customer information is handled, review our Privacy Policy.

What This Means for Honest Buyers

For most honest buyers, verification is simple: use accurate billing details, a real phone number, a safe shipping address, and respond if we contact you.

Strict verification protects serious buyers. It helps prevent stolen-card purchases, fraudulent orders, unsafe reroutes, and delivery disputes.

We would rather slow down an order for the right security reason than ship a high-value diamond carelessly.
