Before You Order
What does LabCreated.Diamonds sell?
LabCreated.Diamonds currently sells certified loose lab-grown diamonds. We do not currently sell finished engagement rings, mountings, or custom jewelry through the website.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds with the same basic chemical composition and hardness as mined diamonds. The difference is origin: lab-grown diamonds are created in a controlled growth environment instead of being mined from the earth.
Are your loose lab-grown diamonds certified?
Yes. Loose lab-grown diamonds sold through LabCreated.Diamonds are independently graded by IGI or GIA. The grading report helps verify the diamond’s carat weight, color, clarity, measurements, and other important details.
Do the diamonds include a grading report?
Yes. Eligible loose lab-grown diamonds include the applicable IGI or GIA grading report information. Buyers should keep the original grading report and packaging, especially if a return is ever needed.
Can I compare diamonds before buying?
Yes. We encourage buyers to compare certified loose lab-grown diamonds carefully before ordering. Review the grading report, diamond video or image, measurements, shape, carat weight, color, clarity, cut information, and overall face-up appearance.
Orders and Payment
How can I pay for my order?
Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Checkout is processed through Shopify’s secure checkout system and supported payment providers.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. After checkout, you should receive an order confirmation email with your order details. If you do not see it, check your spam or junk folder. If you still need help, contact us through the Contact page or email contact@labcreated.diamonds.
Does placing an order guarantee the diamond is available?
Most orders proceed normally, but loose diamond inventory can change because diamonds may be supplied through live availability feeds. If a diamond becomes unavailable after checkout, we will contact you with available options, which may include a comparable replacement option or a refund.
Why might an order need manual review?
Loose lab-grown diamonds are high-value items, so some orders require manual review before shipment. Verification may include billing address review, shipping address review, payment authorization review, phone validation, AVS confirmation, or identity verification when needed.
Can an order be canceled for verification reasons?
Yes. An order may be canceled if it does not meet our verification standards, if payment authorization cannot be confirmed, if the billing and shipping details do not match required security checks, if a VOIP phone number is used, or if requested verification is not completed.
Order Verification and Security
Why do you verify high-value diamond orders?
We verify high-value loose lab-grown diamond orders to protect customers from unauthorized card use and to help ensure insured delivery is safe, accurate, and eligible for coverage.
What is AVS?
AVS stands for Address Verification System. It helps confirm that the billing street number and ZIP code match the information your bank has on file. AVS is an important security check for high-value orders.
Do billing and shipping addresses need to match?
For high-value diamond orders, billing and shipping information may be required to match for security and insurance reasons. If the order does not meet the required address checks, it may be canceled or delayed until verification is complete.
Do you accept VOIP phone numbers?
No. VOIP phone numbers are not accepted for high-value loose lab-grown diamond orders. A valid mobile or landline number is required. Orders using VOIP numbers may be canceled.
Will I ever be asked for ID?
Some high-value orders may require a government-issued photo ID to confirm payment authorization and help prevent fraud. ID verification is used for order security, not for marketing.
Can I change the shipping address after ordering?
For security reasons, address changes may not be allowed after checkout. High-value diamond orders must pass verification before shipping, and reroutes or address changes may be refused to protect the customer and the shipment.
Shipping and Delivery
Where do you ship?
LabCreated.Diamonds ships within the United States only.
How long does shipping take?
Loose lab-grown diamonds typically ship within 3–10 business days after order confirmation and review. Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
What shipping carrier do you use?
Loose lab-grown diamonds ship by UPS insured service. After dispatch, the shipment is sent by UPS 2nd Day Air insured service when applicable under the Shipping Policy.
Is shipping insured?
Yes. Diamond shipments are fully insured while in transit through the approved shipping process.
Is a signature required?
Yes. Adult signature is required for delivery. This helps protect the buyer, the shipment, and the insurance coverage.
Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
No. Loose diamond orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes because of the insured nature of the shipment.
Will I receive tracking?
Yes. Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information by email so you can follow the delivery status.
Returns and Refunds
What is your return policy?
Eligible unaltered loose lab-grown diamonds may be returned under the Returns & Refund Policy. To qualify for a refund, the customer must contact LabCreated.Diamonds before returning the diamond, use the insured UPS return label we provide, follow all return instructions, and ensure that the diamond is received back by LabCreated.Diamonds within 30 calendar days after the customer receives it. The cost of the insured return label will be deducted from the refund.
What condition must the diamond be in for return?
The diamond must be unaltered, unused, and returned with the original packaging and original IGI or GIA certification report. Returns may be refused if the diamond is damaged after delivery, missing required documentation, or returned outside the approved process.
How do I start a return?
Email contact@labcreated.diamonds with your order number to request return authorization. Do not ship a diamond back without authorization and instructions.
Do I need to use your return label?
Yes. Authorized returns must use the approved insured UPS return label provided through the return process. Returns shipped without the authorized insured label may not be eligible for refund.
Who pays for return shipping?
The buyer is responsible for return shipping on approved returns. For security and insurance reasons, authorized returns must use the approved insured UPS return label provided through the return process. The cost of the insured return label is deducted from the refund amount. Original shipping, insurance, and handling costs are non-refundable where applicable under the Returns & Refund Policy.
When are refunds processed?
After the returned diamond is received and inspected, eligible refunds are generally issued within 2–3 business days to the original form of payment.
Are any items non-returnable?
Non-returnable items include loose diamonds damaged after delivery, returns missing the original certification document, returns shipped without the authorized insured return label, and any item that does not meet the Returns & Refund Policy requirements.
Warranty and Authenticity
Do you guarantee authenticity?
Yes. LabCreated.Diamonds provides authenticity protection for certified loose lab-grown diamonds sold through our website. Each eligible loose lab-grown diamond is supported by its IGI or GIA grading information.
What does the limited warranty cover?
The limited warranty is intended to address eligible defects or authenticity concerns under the applicable warranty terms. It does not replace insurance and does not cover loss, theft, misuse, abuse, post-delivery damage, or normal wear.
Should I insure my diamond after delivery?
Yes. We recommend arranging personal jewelry insurance after delivery if you want protection against loss, theft, accidental damage, or other events not covered by the limited warranty.
Certification and Diamond Details
What do IGI and GIA reports show?
IGI and GIA grading reports may show important diamond details such as carat weight, measurements, shape, color, clarity, polish, symmetry, fluorescence, inscription details when applicable, and other grading information.
Should I choose by carat weight alone?
No. Carat weight matters, but buyers should also review cut quality, measurements, color, clarity, shape, certification, and the diamond’s face-up appearance. A slightly smaller diamond that looks bright and balanced can be a better choice than a larger diamond with weaker appearance.
Are product images and videos exact?
Product images and videos are intended to help buyers review the diamond, but screen settings, lighting, magnification, and video conditions can affect appearance. Always compare the grading report, measurements, and visual presentation together.
